Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Our Commitment to Equal Housing Opportunity

Close with Colleen Real Estate is committed to providing professional real estate services in accordance with the federal Fair Housing Act, the Florida Fair Housing Act, and all other applicable federal, state, and local fair housing laws.

We support equal housing opportunity and provide services without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

Every person deserves fair, honest, and professional treatment when buying, selling, renting, financing, or exploring housing opportunities.

Our Fair Housing Practices

Close with Colleen Real Estate is committed to:

  • Providing consistent and professional service to all clients and prospective clients

  • Making properties and real estate services available without unlawful discrimination

  • Presenting available housing opportunities based on each client’s stated needs, preferences, budget, and objective property criteria

  • Using inclusive, accurate, and nondiscriminatory advertising and marketing

  • Providing truthful information about property availability

  • Avoiding steering, blockbusting, discriminatory statements, and other prohibited practices

  • Treating all parties to a real estate transaction with dignity, fairness, and respect

  • Complying with applicable requirements concerning reasonable accommodations and modifications for individuals with disabilities

  • Cooperating with real estate professionals and service providers without unlawful discrimination

Property and Community Information

We help clients evaluate properties using objective information such as location, price, property features, market data, taxes, association fees, and other criteria selected by the client.

We do not direct clients toward or away from a property or neighborhood based on the protected characteristics of people who live or may live there.

When clients request information about schools, crime, demographics, religious institutions, accessibility, or other community characteristics, we may refer them to government agencies, school districts, law-enforcement agencies, community organizations, or other independent sources so they can conduct their own research and determine which communities best meet their individual needs.

Reasonable Accommodations

Individuals with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations related to our real estate services or communications. We will work in good faith to provide reasonable assistance consistent with applicable law.

To request an accommodation or an alternative method of communication, please contact Colleen Gerke using the information below.
